Any data that you can send to help fill out the records on people in the
database, or to add new people who were definitely living in the British Isles in
1851, would be welcome
There are some mini-projects associated with the database where you might be able to help. For example:
adopt a family: help build up the picture of a family who have not yet been claimed by any descendants!
scan the census for communities that are under-represented here, such as Dudley, Ipswich, Newcastle, Sunderland and Wolverhampton
use other sources to help build up the picture on communities in Belfast, Cork, Dublin and elsewhere in Ireland in 1851
track down emigrants - help to explain why the record goes cold on a lot of entries after 1851
identify the maiden names of the 50 or so women currently listed in the database by surname '?'
help build up information on deaths, causes of death and places of burial
